• Translation Text: Text you input for translation is sent to our servers temporarily for processing and is not stored permanently
• Uploaded Files: Files you upload for translation are processed temporarily and deleted immediately after extraction
• Language Preferences: Your preferred source and target languages are stored locally on your device
• Theme Preference: Your light/dark mode preference is stored locally on your device

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Provide translation services using Google Gemini AI
• Extract text from uploaded files (images, PDFs, audio)
• Save your app preferences locally for a better user experience

We do not:

• Store your translations or uploaded files on our servers
• Sell, trade, or share your data with third parties for marketing
• Track your usage beyond basic analytics

3. Third-Party Services

TransIntel uses the following third-party service:

• Google Gemini AI: For translation and text extraction. Your data is processed according to Google's Privacy Policy

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures:

• All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS
• Uploaded files are processed in memory and deleted immediately
• No permanent storage of user translations or files
• Local storage uses secure AsyncStorage

5. Data Retention

TransIntel follows a minimal data retention policy:

• Translation requests are not logged or stored
• Uploaded files are deleted immediately after processing
• Local preferences remain on your device until you delete the app

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Clear all locally stored preferences through the app settings
• Delete all app data by uninstalling the application
• Use the app without creating an account

7. Children's Privacy

TransIntel does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences.
